Our Ingredients
Can you believe everyday laundry liquid and powder don’t have to disclose all of their ingredients?
You’d be surprised what is in traditional alternatives.
We have nothing to hide, so we’re telling all.
What we put in
We are proud to have created a powerful formula that has 94%+ naturally derived ingredients #winning!
Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate
Coconut oil derived cleanser and softener. SDS is also used for solubalisation so that the sheets fully dissolve when in contact with water.
Fatty Alcohol Polyglycol Ether
Coconut oil derived cleanser and stain fighter. The surfactant properties help to lift dirt and stains and stop them from reattaching to the fibres in your laundry.
Poly Vinyl Alcohol
An odourless and non-toxic molecule that helps to create the soft and supple, yet soluble texture of our sheets.
Glycereth Cocoate
Plant derived solvent. Once the sheets are dissolved, this helps to create a thick lather to clean your laundry thoroughly and gently.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine
Plant derived surfactant that helps to create a thick lather to clean your laundry thoroughly and gently.
Fragrance
High quality, allergen-free fragrance that leaves your laundry smelling fresh and clean. We have two fragranced options - Tropical Breeze and Fresh Linen. If you prefer fragrance-free, try our Sensitive Unscented.
What we leave out
Commonly used ingredients in traditional laundry detergent that we chose not to use.
Optical Brighteners
Designed to stick to clothes to give the illusion of cleanliness. They can often end up in waterways, causing long term damage to aquatic life. They can also stick to plants which can have long term damage to insect life and pollination.
Ethanolamine
Used as a surfactant and pH buffer. Little did you know that this can cause severe skin irritations.
Phosphates
Used to soften hard water and increase cleaning power. We chose not to use phosphates because of the impact it has on the environment and aquatic life, not to mention that phosphates are a finite resource, soon to be exhausted by human interference.
Enzymes
Enzymes are used to fight stains in traditional laundry detergent. However, they can contain allergens that can be highly invasive, especially to the respiratory system.
Parabens
Parabens are used as preservatives in traditional laundry detergent, and other household items like beauty products. They can be extremely harmful with long lasting effects. May cause severe skin irritation, affect birth outcomes and increase chances of cancer.
Dyes
Synthetic dyes are frequently used in laundry detergent products to colour the formula. Many are derived from non-renewable sources, and can cause eye, lung and skin irritations.
